Mr. Margot Durling

John was an incredible teacher at NSCAD University. To this day, I credit him as being the person who inspired me to pursue Design as my career. John impressed me with his broad scope of work, his attention to detail, his flair for elegance, his incredible work ethic and time management skills, his impeccable taste, his drive and ambition, but most of all, his excitement and passion for design.

Mr. Margot Durling | Transgender artist, musician and multi-disciplinary designer driven by social change, Durling was a student of John’s at NSCAD University and is currently the Creative Director at Fathom Studio.
